This role assumes overall technical responsibility for the success of solution construction, implementation and system integration in a technology, industry or business speciality. They deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements. They utilize in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to influence clients.

z IT Architects have the role of growing and protecting the System z install base in assigned accounts. In this role you will establish and maintain a strong technical relationship with your customer with a focus on improving satisfaction and technical health. Key in this role is to position the Architectural and Business Value of System z Software. You will be able to differentiate System z versus other distributed platforms and be recognised by the customer as foremost expert in matching System z Solutions to Business Requirements.
