Systems Management Infrastructure - Mainframe (zSeries) (2nd level support)

SMI (System Management Infrastructure) - Mainframe

Service coverage: Extended office hours, on call service and out of office works can be established on demand.

Summary:
Delivery center are able to monitor and follow customers environments with the help specific tools. Those tools are IBM’s delivery ‘‘Infrastructure‘‘ known as SMI this service cover 2nd, and 3rd suport level.

Typical activities
  • Install, deploy and maintain monitoring tools.
  • Install, deploy and maintain tracking tools.
  • Install, deploy and maintain business facilitation tools.

Requirements for this position:
- advanced knowledge of Mainframe environment
- advanced knowledge of Tivoli System Automation for z/OS and Tivoli Netview for z/OS products
- ability to work in TSO, ISPF, SDSF
- basic knowledge of JCL, REXX
- knowledge of Tivoli Workload Scheduler welcomed
- problem determination, analysis and resolution
- good team working skills balanced with ability to work alone
- ability to keep night and weekend service
- ability to work well in an international environment
- fluent communication in English

Required
  • Master's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in Mainframe (zSeries)
  • At least 6 months experience in Tivoli System Automation for z/OS and Tivoli Netview for z/OS products
  • Basic knowledge in JCL, REXX
  • Basic knowledge in Ability to work in TSO, ISPF, SDSF
  • English: Fluent

Preferred
  • At least 1 year experience in Tivoli System Automation for z/OS and Tivoli Netview for z/OS products
  • At least 6 months experience in Tivoli Workload Scheduler
  • At least 6 months experience in Ability to work in TSO, ISPF, SDSF
