Technical Project Manager, Global Rates and Currencies Technology, Up to VP

Summary of Business Area
Global Rates and Currencies Technology (GRCT) provides technology solutions and support to the GRC Business which is a division of Global Markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch covering all Rates and Currency trading

Role Responsibilities
The EDT team provide solutions to the European Liquidity Rates Trading desk with responsibilities for pricing, price distribution and electronic-trading. The team is split across two locations – London and Singapore .

We are looking for an ION MarketView specialist, with very strong PM Skills. The role will be 50/50 split between implementation and managing the ongoing projects. Typical projects would be new markets, mandated upgrades, new business requirements, ongoing maintenance of current system.

Assets classes covered are: Govies / Supra’s / Agency / UST / Covered / Inflation / Repo / IRS

Manage the workflow through the connectivity team and execute more hands-on tasks such implementing new markets, gateways upgrades, etc.

Skill Requirements
Essential: 
  • ION MarketView Platform 
  • Business facing role 
  • Project management 
  • Implementation of new markets from initiation to STP

Desirable: 
  • Product knowledge: Fixed Income: Bonds and Interest Rate Swaps 
  • Unix shell scripting 
  • ION API Knowledge 
  • Java / C++
