Technical Sales Lead - "Initiate" Product

IBM recently acquired Initiate Systems as part of its strategy to drive further business in the Healthcare sector. Initiate Systems’ provides offerings that enable a complete, real-time views of patients, providers & members across the healthcare ecosystem.Building on the success of these offerings in North America and the United Kingdom, IBM is looking to expand this Healthcare offering across Europe. To this end we are looking for a highly motivated Technical Pre-sales Representative for the IBM Initiate program in NE Region

The Initiate Master Data Management (MDM) portfolio is applicable to a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on health care, federal security, insurance, and banking. This role is an integral part of the IBM Initiate program and assists the sales team with pre-sales technical knowledge and presentations. They work closely with sales managers, business partners, and prospects as a technical subject-matter expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements.

IDEAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
  • Previous experience working with software solutions in multiple industries (i.e. Financial Services, Telco, Retail, Government, Public, etc.) is highly desired; prefer significant domain competence in at least one of Health Care or Government. 
  • Experience in a technical environment, supporting /understanding Master Data Management, Customer Data Integration, Product Information Management, ETL, and/or Data Warehousing products.
  • Good understanding of data integration processes such as data modeling, data profiling, data quality, data matching and consolidation, change data capture and ETL 
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience in RDBMS (DB2, Informix, Oracle, MS SQL Server), operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows) and programming languages (Java, C/C++, Cobol, etc.)
  • Proven capability to analyze real world business issues and solve business problems
  • Excellent troubleshooting, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills 
  • Ability to travel 50% to 70% 
  • Strong English language skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Business or equivalent.
  • Current on industry trends and market competition
  • Possess demonstrated skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record using it to help drive revenue
  • Strong implementation track record in several projects in a consulting or systems integration firm is a plus
