Technical Support Professional

We in Lotus Customer Support are looking for candidates who are proficient in performing and enabling remote technical support of IBM software and solutions.

Successful candidates need to possess the following skills/ capabilities:
> provide technical support assistance to customers using problem determination/problem source identification skills.
> demonstrate technical and negotiation skills in collaboration with other support operations/organizations to prioritize and diagnose problems to resolution.
> communicates action plans to the customer or IBM representative as appropriate
> recommend and implement new or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, and processes.
> may need to be able to provide training for and mentor others on the team.
>contribute to department attainment of organizational objectives and high customer satisfaction.

Required 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent 
  • Basic knowledge in Enterprise Server Administration 
  • Basic knowledge in Platforms :- WINTEL, Unix, OS400 
  • Basic knowledge in Application Development, J2EE, SOA, Webservices 
  • Basic knowledge in C, C/C , JAVA, Visual Basic. Database knowledge and conce 
  • Basic knowledge in Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills 
  • Basic knowledge in Computer Science degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Basic knowledge in Other relevant platform or software certifications would be an advantage 
  • Basic knowledge in All or some of the above listed skills. 
  • Previous working experience in this or similar field would be an advantage 
  • English: Fluent

Required
