Accenture's Communications and Hi Tech client service group engages with clients in the telecommunications and electronics, aerospace and defence, and media and entertainment fields, helping many of the most successful organisations in this space become high performance businesses. You will work within consulting engagement teams to design/deliver testing solutions as part of technology change in Communications and High-Technology clients. Specific roles will vary due to client demand but core responsibilities would be as follows:
Core Responsibilities:
• Work with clients and Accenture solution teams to help define test strategy, approach and execution plan for medium to large scale system solutions.
• Manage the test preparation phase of the project lifecycle including test scenario & script creation, environment & data readiness.
• Manage the test execution phase of the project lifecycle including, coverage / pass rate reports, defect reports, triage processes and calls and trending statistics
• Work closely with Accenture and client teams to review test results, providing sign out and closure reports quantifying business impacts.
• Engage with client leads to ensure all phases of testing are interlocked to ensure complete E2E coverage.
• Manage a test plan, and issues, risks, assumptions, dependencies associated with it. Produce regular test status reports for project stakeholders.
• Define and manage a risk based testing approach, leveraging automation, regression and effective use of test stubs.
• Deliver test status effectively to clients through documentation and presentations.
• Work as a standalone test SME lead, and/or lead a team of testers (offshore/onshore) following a structured testing methodology.
• Build and maintain key client relationships.
Qualifications
Work Experience:
• University/College Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Test delivery experience, preferably in the Communications and High-Technology industry sector or with main stream consulting companies, testing companies. This experience should include some or all of the following:
• Delivery of a significant testing workstream within a larger systems delivery project.
• Experience of managing a medium to large sized test team, offshore preferable.
• Working within a structured testing delivery methodology.
• Experience of test progress monitoring and test status reporting. Participating in core test and project governance meetings, e.g providing E2E test status updates for a release.
• Relationship building with client personnel during delivery of project.
• High profile test delivery with tight timescales.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Knowledge of the Communications & High Technology industry, with test related skill set to deliver testing execution in a CHT client environment.
• Proven skill set and knowledge in one or more core Telco application areas, CRM, Billing, OSS/BSS applications.
• Strong test knowledge of medium to large scale technology driven system change projects/programmes.
• Is able to work as part of combined teams of Accenture and client resources
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Test Certifications or qualifications as applicable.
