Responsible for the service transition activities related to firm's application solution initiatives. This position requires an ability to assess the transition scope and characteristics of each project and to construct and execute a transition plan that is appropriate for the transition scope.
Your responsibilities as a Transition Manager will include:
- Planning and executing the transfer of key information required for accepting, operating and supporting a solution deployed into a production environment
- Devising potentially complex transition plans and understanding how they fit into a project schedule
- Coordinating communications, learning and change management plans into one transition plan
- Coordinating installations/deployments of hardware and/or software.
Qualifications/skills you'll need as a Transition Manager:
- Familiarity with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Systems Management Server (SMS)
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts.
