UK/Ireland Inside Sales Rep – IBM Systems Servers (Hardware)

IBM UK and Ireland is seeking to recruit and further develop the strongest Sales Specialists in the profession and are currently looking to fill a position as a hardware sales specialist for the UK Enterprise/Industries sector.

As a hardware Sales Specialist you need to be able to identify, drive and close your own business opportunities as well as working as a part of a broader team of face to face salespeople and extended IBM specialists in country. You will be responsible for selling IBM hardware through all IBM routes to market - direct to end customer and through our business partners. You will maintain in-depth skills in your specialty offerings and you should have a good understanding of your client's IT strategy and business needs as well as those key business challenges for your industry overall, and to identify appropriate solutions to meet these business needs.

- Plan and execute an effective relationship strategy and maintain effective long-term business relationships at all customer levels with key decision makers and influencers;
- Plan and facilitate negotiations on a planned basis towards achieving lasting agreements and commitments;
- Explain and best position the product or solution’s benefits to the customers to align with their requirements and be able to address and overcome challenges or objections;
- Develop solution strategies by engaging in consultative solution selling, involving business partners and influencers as appropriate;
- Develop an effective account plan and manage the revenue, wallet share as well as the customer satisfaction on assigned accounts;
- Identify and prioritise opportunities and manage a business pipeline within the context of achieving target on an overall territory basis

Requirements:

- Proven sales track record with demonstrated ability to manage a sales territory
- Proactive approach, strong lateral thinking, ability to sell your own value-add in nay engagement, ability to team across multiple disciplines and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Min 2 years sales experience, preferably in an IT or enterprise technology field;
- Preferably university degree in a business or IT related discipline.

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in Sales experience necessary
  • English: Fluent
