Job Description
A vacancy exists for an experienced Project Manager within the International Change Management team located in Croydon supporting the Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banking business. The suitable candidate will be joining an established team managing technology projects delivering Treasury solutions. The role will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, management and control of specific projects according to agreed timelines and budget; ensuring consistency with commitments and goals.
Responsibilities
- End-to- end project execution responsibility
- Project team leadership and strategic influencing
- Collaboratively developing schedules – project activity planning and sequencing
- Resource planning and forecasting - liaise with Business Partners and Resource Managers to ensure that resources are planned, assigned and committed to the projects
- Maintaining financials – forecast, burn rates and budgets across service providers ensuring that variances are proactively managed.
- Monitoring, managing and reporting progress at multiple management levels
- Facilitating risk analysis and identification
- Managing risks and issues
- Partnering with business ownersand working with vendors
- Adherence to established to BAML Enterprise Change Management process and documentation
- Adherence to established guidelines or operational procedures, including areas of compliance and anti-money laundering
Requirements
- End-to-end project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Interpersonal/communication skills are essential (must be able to facilitate, co-ordinate, negotiate, influence and motivate).
- Demonstrated leadership experience, ability to motivate team and drive execution, performance driven with the necessary intensity and optimism to deliver.
- Capable of working across organizational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment.
- Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Must be pro-active, adaptable and results driven.
