Employees in this role work throughput a product life cycle. They work with product planners and owners to establish measureable performance goals which meet market requirements. They design and implement workloads reflecting actual customer usage patterns, then request measurements and do analysis to verify that the product's performance goals are met. They work closely with development on design and implementation enhancements and make tuning recommendations to improve software performance. In addition, they develop and provide capacity planning and investigation guidance and tools to Sales and Support.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in System Z
- At least 5 years experience in z/OS
- At least 3 years experience in z/OS
- At least 3 years experience in Admin in DB2, WAS, IHS on z/OS and z/Linux
- At least 3 years experience in Performances Testing Tools
- At least 3 years experience in J2EE applications and Web Services ( XML, SOAP )
- Security clearance of National Agency Check (NAC) - Active
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Information Technology
