Overview

Become part of the Global TIBCO Products and Technology Group. We are responsible for the creation of new software products, the continued innovation, and development of existing products. Our team takes pride in offering on-going support of those products through the full product life-cycle while thriving for constant improvement.  

You will be the Project Manager of an agile product development team responsible for implementing new and maintaining existing Cloud-based products and services.

The Project Manager leads the daily work and will also contribute to set the teams long-term goals and overall product roadmap. The product team is cross-functional team with 10+ team members representing all the required competencies needed to build and deliver the product, including UX designers, Technical Writers, Developers and Testers.

This role is principally based in our Swindon office and has dual responsibility as well for supporting ISO audits for our software products, which will take approx. 5 to 10% of the working time.

Responsibilities

What will you do?

  • Taking part in the delivery process including e.g. Beta deliveries, presentations and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Act as a focal point for assessments for a specific assigned business, region or function following all appropriate internal requirements.
  • Uses the Audit Schedule to independently plan assigned assessments.
  • Requirements negotiation, planning and follow up.
  • Perform risk management and mitigation
  • Lead the team’s daily work and make sure everyone is on-board.
  • Management and tracking of the teams' activities to deliver projects using standard tool and project management techniques
  • Fostering agile culture and methodologies within the team.
  • Handling dependencies to other development teams.
  • Representing the team in various meetings (internally as well as externally).
  • Educate others in quality and regulatory standards and consult in the development of processes and procedures consistent with those standards.
  • Perform gap analyses for Business partners as needed.
  • Perform walkthroughs and testing associated with general controls for compliance audits and/or other operational audits.
  • Drafting key deliverables including audit reports and metrics.

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful in the role?

  • Degree or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Experience successfully managing multiple complex software releases/projects.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge, preferably as a software engineer in the past.
  • Experience working with lean and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understand the balance of feature development, business case, time-to-market, and make trade-offs where appropriate.
  • 5+ years’ as Project Manager with documented experience of the activities and skills listed above.
  • Fluency in business English (written and spoken).
  • Expertise and working knowledge of ISO standards such as 9001.
  • Familiarity with auditing software.
