Thank you so much for coming along the womenintechnology.co.uk and WeAreTheCity evening networking event 'Leadership in Challenging Times'.

I would like to pass on our thanks to our keynote speakers, Sarah Williams-Gardner, Campaign Director for Opportunity Now and Veronique Arnoldi, Chief Technology Officer at Aviva Investors. Sarah gave a thought provoking presentation about leadership styles and how they are changing in the current challenging times, and explained the importance of authenticity in leadership. Veronique shared an insight into her take on leadership, talked about her own personal experiences and her belief in remaining true to yourself, again reinforcing Sarah's point on the importance of having an authentic leadership style.

Thank you goes to our Q&A panel chair, Michelle Brailsford - President of the European Professional Women's Network - London and to our panellists: Angela Peacock - Managing Director of The People Development Team who spoke about unconscious bias and Vahé Torossian - President of the Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe Region who shared his views about the importance of investing in your team despite economic circumstances

We'd also like to thank the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for hosting the event. For more information about their executive MBA programme please click here.

Also a big thanks goes to Women Inspired by Wine who kindly supplied all the wine for the networking. Please click here to download the Women Inspired by Wine price list.

Final thanks go to everyone who attended and who continue to support womenintechnology.co.uk. If you attended, we would very much like to hear your feedback so would really appreciate it if you could find the time to fill in our short post event feedback survey, so that we can find out what you liked about the event and what you think could be improved upon, and what topics would you like to see us cover at future events. Thanks so much.
