My advice in developing your career?
Take your time. Find your passion. When you do, it’s simply a pleasure delivering the projects you work on. For example, I started my career in auditing, but when I switched to consulting, it was like I’d arrived home. Nobody forces me to get involved in accountancy-related work either, even though I have that experience. I’m not criticised for following my interests.

Because of that, I can honestly say I’ve never had a boring moment. And I always feel valued. I do believe I’m trusted by my colleagues, implicitly – I don’t have to earn it or prove myself. And that then gives you this platform to do things you might never have done before. You can push outside of your comfort zone, because you know you have that support. Since I joined, I’ve done work that’s impacted the entire country, and even appeared on TV. If you want to be stretched, it’s the perfect place to be.
