Networking sites give users results as soon as possible
10/02/2009
The advent of the internet is allowing businesses to provide consumers with what they want faster than ever.
By using networking websites, this can be achieved even more quickly, according to
Talkbiznow
.
As the internet has developed, so too has a culture of information on demand. Now, people are far less inclined to wait to find out relevant details.
Instead, they want results fast, which Martin Warner, chief executive of Talkbiznow, believes networking sites can provide.
"This moves towards this culture on the internet where people want information quickly and they want to transact," he said.
"The marketplace is all about giving people an experience and helping them shape the way they sell their products and services, which is really quick, straight through, very quick to upload and you haven't got any of the overheads of a website."
UK shoppers spent more than £4.67 billion online in December, according to the
IMRG
Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index.
