Woman launches book for website beginners

03/11/2010 Woman launches book for website beginnersInternet entrepreneur Paula Wynne has published a visual and practical book for beginners on how to create a website, cutting out the jargon and guiding readers though technical know-how.

Create a Successful Website is designed to help people create an online business, covering aspects such as ecommerce and secure trading and generating revenue, as well as advice on what makes good content.

However, it is also suitable for people who want to design a website as a hobby.

The book has been endorsed by a number of businesswomen role models, including Dragon's Den's Rachel Elnaugh, co-founder of Mumsnet Carrie Longton and Karen Hanton, who sold her website Toptable.com for £55 million.

"I wrote the book for beginners - it's the type of book I couldn't find when I was setting up my business sites," commented Ms Wynne.

Marking its launch tomorrow (November 4th), start-up businesses have the chance to win more than £3,500 of prizes to help set up a website through Amazon.
