Non-Verbal Behaviour at Work - A Body Language Masterclass Has this ever happened to you: Your words are saying one thing, your body is saying something else and your listener is looking confused? Lack of congruency between the words you say and the way you say them leads to mis-communication, misunderstandings, and mistrust.
Research consistently shows that non-verbal behaviour reveals attitudes and feelings while the spoken word conveys information. Behaving authentically and establishing an emotional connection with yourself, your story and your listener through gesture, voice and expression results in clear understanding and successful communication with colleagues, clients, and everyone else with whom you interact.
In this workshop you will discover the power of non-verbal behaviour including:
- Stance
- Gestures
- Expressions
- Voice
- Language
In addition, you will experience the impact of congruent delivery, when your words, voice, and body language work in harmony, creating clear, confident communication. Finally, you will practice ways of thinking, speaking and behaving that support your message and reflect you at your best.
