Effective Leadership for Women in IT: Developing Your Management Style

Would you consider yourself a leader? Do you have management responsibility for anyone in your team? Or would you like to soon?

“Effective Leadership for Women in IT: Developing Your Management Style” is aimed at all technology professionals who want to develop better workplace relationships with a view to growing into more management responsibilities.

You will explore underlying assumptions about being "the boss" and traditional views of the workplace, look at how developing rapport and deep listening skills can increase employee motivation and how to handle conflict and delegate tasks to increase trust in staff and teamwork.

As a result of this highly interactive and experiential day you will create a leadership style that inspires confidence and trust from others, increase confidence in your communication and management skills and be able to improve personal productivity and team morale.

Feedback from attendees:
"I liked the way it was practical and hands on and I had time to think about what I would do and my actions."
"[The trainer was] excellent, intelligent, approachable."

This session was led by Suzanne Doyle-Morris.
