Why do we need to recruit and advance more women technologists within and into IT?
In 2007 only 18% of IT & Telecoms professionals were female and only 25% of women who have trained in STEM working in this area.
Statistics show that since 2001, 37,000 female IT professionals have ‘disappeared’ from the UK’s IT profession, despite the overall numbers of UK IT professionals having grown.
