The Importance of Self-image and Confidence

Self-image is the personal view we have of ourselves. It is our mental image or self-portrait. Lack of confidence and self-esteem – whether in specific situations or just generally will cause you to fall short of one’s potential, feel unworthy and miss out on much of what life has to offer.

The image you project upon others will reflect an assessment of your abilities, which may undermine the true self. By just building a self-confident image, you will be more marketable to get ahead in your career.

This 3-hour session will include:
  • A review of key behaviours correlated to the leadership qualities framework
  • Specific steps to foster a positive self-image – Participants undertaking role plays
  • Going after a sense of purpose and reviewing questions that need to be asked to achieve total self-honesty - taking stock of your achievements, confronting limiting self-talk, clarity of expectations – “you become your expectations.”
  • Techniques for instant confidence – Introduction to PSYCK-K
  • The Confidence Plan – Building a stronger you
  • Suspending judgement and developing an attitude of gratitude towards yourself and valuing your distinctive qualities. Managing your negative self-talk. What is true for you is true for the people who work for and with you
  • Knowing the power of beliefs. Balancing belief points
  • Developing the courage to win
