Maggie runs womenintechnology.co.uk, a leading online job board and networking forum for women working in the technology profession in the UK. She has been involved since womenintechnology's inception in the autumn of 2004 and manages all aspects of the website and the networking activities womenintechnology organises.
The network now has over 6,000 members and the job board is helping a wide range of investment banks and technology firms to recruit more women into their IT divisions. Her background is in technology recruitment within the financial services where she spent four years as a recruiter with McGregor Boyall Associates. Prior to this she worked for NatWest as a Graduate Banking Manager, providing financial advice to final year university students and graduates. Maggie is a graduate of the University of East Anglia.
Sarah is from Scotland and moved down to join the womenintechnology team and enjoy the delights of London. She graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2006 with an MA in Psychology with Management.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys taking in London's sights, going to the theatre, traveling, cooking and socialising with friends. She has also recently taken up Latin American and ballroom dancing.
Claire runs the recruitment team at womenintechnology.co.uk which provides a traditional recruitment service for companies looking to recruit within the technology space. This includes contingency recruitment for mid level and senior IT positions on a contract, permanent and interim basis.The recruitment service provides clients with the opportunity to access a wider and more diverse talent pool through the use of search and selection methodologies as well as networking through our network and within the wider IT community. While we are best placed to source female talent, our short lists will reflect the diverse make-up of the workplace and will include high calibre male IT professionals.Claire is an experienced recruiter with six years experience in supplying high end recruitment solutions to leading financial institutions and blue-chip companies. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and is also CIPD qualified.
Shelana joined the womenintechnology team in March 2008. Her main duty is keeping the job board up to date, but her eagle eye has been invaluable with online user testing, proof reading and various other projects.
In her spare time Shelana enjoys going out with friends, shopping, reading and watching films. She also assists the designer with photoshop as she has a keen interest in photography.
